Aston Villa are optimistic they will complete the loan signing of the Los Angeles Galaxy striker Robbie Keane in their next time to the Barclays Premier League against Bolton on January 14.
Press Association sport understand Villa has held what was described by sources close to the Club as “productive talks” with the international Republic of Ireland.
